Join RTP Corp’s software design team and utilize your software skills to develop real-time software used in our critical control and safety applications.  We are seeking candidates with experience in real-time controls, Ethernet communications, object oriented analysis and design, and C++ who are looking to make an immediate contribution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design specifications using object oriented analysis, object oriented design, and UML
  • Design, code, and test of real-time embedded software using C/C++
  • Carry out module, unit, and system integration testing
  • Document each activity in the software development life cycle
  • Maintain designed software units under a configuration management system
  • Aid in troubleshooting/diagnosing software problems


  • Software development life cycle experience
  • Ethernet communications including use of a LAN analyzer
  • Device driver development for x86 platform (Ethernet, USB, PCIe)
  • Structured programming techniques in the development of  RTOS, communication protocols.
  • Minimum 5 years real-time software development utilizing C/C++
  • Ability to work in a high pace environment



Current availability for detail oriented individual based in our Pompano Beach office. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, modify and maintain test applications used for testing RTP Corp product releases, modifications, and patches
  • Provide results of testing to development engineers in order to remedy any issues found or enhance the product.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve problems and issues related to assigned applications, reports and/or processes
  • Development of Windows based GUI applications using C, C++, and VB.
  • Maintain designed software units under a configuration management system
  • Aid in troubleshooting/diagnosing software issues
  • Develop, modify and maintain documentation for RTP Corporation product.
  • Provide technical support by telephone and e-mail communication to RTP’s customers.
  • Gather information from customers in order to diagnose their issue and provide technical solutions in an accurate and timely manner.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of programming languages, Microsoft Office programs, and Windows Operating Systems
  • Minimum 2 years development utilizing C, C++, and VB


Based in our headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida  you will join our multinational application engineering group to perform application development and testing for our high tech control and safety system and associated software.

Responsibilites include:

  • Application development and testing of critical control and safety applications.
  • Testing the product to standards (e.g. IEC 61508 etc.) and guidelines.
  • Review and analysis of customer proposals and quotation requests.
  • Additional duties include providing support for customer inquiries and technical questions, as well as participation in product certification to various certification agencies (e.g. TUV, ABS, etc.).
  • May be required to travel to customer location in order to provide on-site technical support or product training.  (10-20%)

Restart the sales efforts for the Industrial business in the Americas, where RTP has limited market share, with a clear definitive plan to aggressively grow the U.S., Mexican and Canadian revenue stream. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO

Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • Determine product improvements necessary to support growth
  • Identify a compelling strategy to expand revenues in the well-established Nuclear market in which RTP is the dominant player
  • Build an impactful and proven sales team focused on success
  • Establish revenue forecasts, demand creation strategies, and promotion programs
  • Play a key role in the intelligence and information-gathering necessary to create sales proposals
  • Maintain a presence with the customer at multiple levels in the customer organization, consistent with the account strategy


Proven experience in growing revenues and market share, including recruiting and developing a sales organization

Successful background selling DCS, PLC or SIS with a technical underpinning

Able to identify and establish sales forecast that is predictable and reliable



Currently seeking an aggressive, technically proficient, results oriented, sales professional to join our business development team.  This position will be located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will focus on developing business with major Hydrocarbons End Users in the Gulf Coast Region.  The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO.

Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • Prepares and implements sales plans to maximize sales penetration and sales growth within assigned accounts. 
  • Identify, qualify and win new business
  • Maintain relationships with the existing client base and system integrators
  • Use high level sales skills to arrange sales visits
  • Perform demonstrations of company's software and hardware products to prospective clients in a professional and effective manner.
  • Build solid customer relationships with key decision makers within customer organizations.
  • Travel as needed to support sales plans
  • Generate quotations and proposals for potential customers
  • Keep management apprised of activities within assigned accounts


  • College degree in a technical field (BSEE, BSCS, BSIT, BSNE preferred) and minimum of 5 years of previous technical sales experience. 
  • Must possess excellent sales skills as well as strong verbal and written communications skills and preferably have some knowledge of data acquisition and process control.
  • Previous experience with SIS and/or PLC sales is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills as well as customer relation skills
